Mondelez shares Marvellous new confectionery with leisure market

Mondelez International has launched its Cadbury Marvellous Creations brand in the bitesize confectionery segment for the first time – with the company saying the new product is ideal for the leisure market.

The new Marvellous Mix Ups shared bags follow on from the successful launch of Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations, a brand which Mondelez says is now worth £49.7m. The new product comes in two varieties – mixing Cadbury Buttons chocolate with either Oreo biscuits or Maynards sweets.

“Shared bags are a great product for the leisure market, where consumers come together to share experiences,” said Matthew Williams, marketing director at Mondelez International.

“We believe we’ve got a unique concept in the bagged confectionery market – these new products are a great opportunity for operators to get people excited about confectionery and drive sales.”
